Getting Started

Getting started with Inforama is easy... just register and you will be sent an activation email which gives you access to all of the features. Go to the Registration page to get started.

The Studio Home Page

When you login to Inforama the Inforama Studio button will be visible at the top right of the page. Click this button at any time in order to proceed to the Studio home page.


The Studio home page is divided into a number of areas as follows...

1. This is where page specific menu items will appear.
2. The breadcrumb trail gives you a list of pages that you have navigated to get to the current one.
3. The help icon will appear on each page and will provide context sensitive tips and help.
4. This link will take you to the page where you create and manage your Inforama projects.
5. This link will take you to the page where your account settings are stored. Here you can configure SMTP settings and retrieve your API key.
6. This link will take you to the page where your subscription can be managed.

The Projects Page

If you click the icon indicated by 4 above the Projects page will appear. This is your main page for creating and managing your projects.

1. Click the New Project button and enter the name you wish to give the project. The new project will appear in the table.
2. Click the project name in order to proceed to the project page.
3. The date on which project was created.
4. The date on which project was last modified.
5. Click the Manage button to go to the project page. This is the same as clicking the project link.
6. Click the Delete button to delete the project.
7. Click the Rename button to rename the project.

The Project Home Page

If you click the project link indicated by 2 above the Project home page will appear. This is where you mangage the different artifacts in the project including templates, datasets, resources and packs.

1. These links allow you to create templates, datasets and resources in your project.
2. Click this tab to see the templates that are currently configured in the project.
3. Click this tab to see the datasets that are currently configured in the project.
4. Click this tab to see the resources that are currently configured in the project.
5. Click this tab to see the packs that are currently configured in the project.
6. This is the templates table. Click the name of the template to view information about it and download it if necessary.
7. The date on which the template was created.
8. The date on which the template was last modified.
9. Click the Designer button to go to the template editor page.
10. Click the Generate button to go to the page that will allow you to generate documents from the template.
11. Delete the template.
12. Upload a new version of the template.
